by Patricia Lewis Last activity date:

I have a craftsman / md 208cc 26" snowblower that has running issues, it is only 40 days old, it will only start and run when it is tilted at a 45 degree angle, when level it dies.

This will almost certainly be a fueling issue. It sounds like maybe the float in the carburetor is somehow sticking. Because it's new I recommend you contact service and them come out and repair the machine.

I cannot think of anything outside of the carburetor and/or fuel system that would cause this problem.

Having a Snow blower not work properly can be quite a concern. While you are waiting for an expert to reply I recommend to reply back to this thread with a detailed model number to your Snow blower. Which this will allow a detailed answer from an expert.
