how do i remove broken shear pin

I have a craftsman 24" snow thrower with two broken shear pins and they won't come out. Model #247.889571

You will need to get a hammer and punch to drive the broken pins out. They are likely packed in with some corrosion and not letting go. Oil them up with penetrating oil (WD40, 3N1, or Marvel Oil) and allow them to soak for about 15-20 minutes and then use the hammer and punch to drive them out.

I understand that you want to remove a broken shear pin from your Craftsman snow thrower.
