Thank you for your question.

I see that James R has given you a link to a previous answered question on the F26 error code. I recommend clicking on that link and follow the advice.

If you need further assistance on the repair of the washer please reply with more details and a complete model number.

Here is a link to order any parts you need.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

Thank you for the reply Jimmy. I have looked up your model and confirmed the information in the link above has the instructions for the F26 error on you washer. I recommend checking the button on the door switch it might be sticking down. If this happens, the machine control will not sense the door has been opened after the cycle. If the button seems fine, remove the wires on connector DCS#3 from the main control. This is a two blue wire connector for the door switch. Once the connector is removed, it should reset the control. Reconnect the connector and check the operation. If the washer works, you know it was the door switch. If it fails after a few loads, you have to replace the door switch. Please let me know if you need further assistance on the washer.

I would suggest that you provide the model # and any other information that you think may help your expert respond with the best possible response.
