Light bulb won't turn on in fridge.

I have a Kenmore Fridge Model 2535162201 and the other day it
tripped the circuit. I fixed the circuit but the light bulb went out.
I replaced the old one but it still does not work. Everything else on
the fridge works including the light on the bottom. Do you know what is
wrong with the fridge? Is it the light socket that has gone bad?

For the refrigerator to trip a circuit breaker something had to short out. A wire probably burned into when it shorted.

If you want to repair the refrigerator, disconnect the power to it and remove the screws that mount the control panel to the top of the refrigerator section.

When you drop the control panel down, you can inspect the light socket and the wires that attach to it.

If the light socket and wires are ok, you can pry the refrigerator light switch out of the cabinet with a small screwdriver and inspect the switch and the wires to it.

If you don't find a problem in the switch or the light socket, I recommend you go to

services.sears.com/shs/category/repair?sid=MMLxexpertxmerch

and get a Sears technician to repair the refrigerator.
