What is best glue product to attach a wood frame to a large glass mirror?

Cannot rabbet because of space restrictions on two sides and bottom of glass.

Having tried out other superglue and always been fed up that after a short time or a knock the bond fails...but Ultraloc (super glue) is excellent. Once dry the bond is excellent - and you don't need to put loads on. Easy to clean up any excess. Fantastic!

Thank you for the update. I see you used the LN-730 Liquid Nails Mirror adhesive.

This is great, and I hope it continues to hold the mirror.

Used Liquid Nails MP adhesive (chart indicated works well attaching glass to wood)
Did NOT work. Never bonded. Had to work quickly to remove frame and adhesive from mirror. Went to Lowes and found Liquid Nails product called MIRROR in caulking tube. It is used to mount mirrors to a plaster, sheetrock or wood wall without desilvering the back. Used this product to affix frame to front side of mirror and it bonded quickly. You get about 10 minutes adjusting time before it sets.. Seems to be holding.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to know how to attach the mirror glass to a wood frame.

If you do not have the benefit of a rabbet step then I would not use glue unless it is your only recourse.

Heavy mirror adhesive

.

I would suggest using mirror mount brackets if that will work in your situation.

The e-how site for instructions should be helpful to you.

I hope this will help.
