Kenmore Garbage Disposal- Model:175.601151; S/N: 03101044400. The garbage disposal is making a humming sound. The reset button on the bottom of the unit is stuck and I am unable to push it in. I have an allen wrench, but I don't know how to use it. Please help!
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom your disposal is likely jammed. The reset button is used if it happens to jam and you leave it turned on too long and then it no longer hums. Since it hums, the reset button has not tripped or it's already been reset.

The 1/4 inch tool is used to manually rotate the disposal cutting blade in order to free up the disposal. There is small opening at the bottom center area of the disposal. Turn off the disposal and water and then place the wrench up into the opening and then rotate the wrench back and forth until it moves freely and then you will have remove the object causing it to jam. I added the specific instructions as seen in the User's manual in the image below.
