Remove Dryer Front to Clean Out Lint

by dallas fuller Last activity date:

I need to remove the front of my dryer to get inside to clean out any accumulated lint but I can't find out how to remove the front cover. I have taken out every visible screw but it is still not coming off. So, how do I get it off without tearing the machine apart?

I know how important it is to remove the lint from the dryer to avoid a possible fire and also to help the dryer be more efficient and heat more properly with the clear vents. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I suggest you add to the thread of this question and include the full model number of your dryer so that the expert can provide you with a more detailed answer. I did manage to find a link that describes a similar problem to the one that you are having. I hope my link is useful.
