james, the bag mounting bracket should hang on 4 shoulder bolts. Look on the hitch plate for additional holes the shoulder bolts can go in. You should be able to install the shoulder bolts so the bag mounting bracket can hang on all 4 shoulder bolts.

If there are no holes to accomplish this, maybe you can drill some new holes to make this happen.

Jimmy . Located the bolt inventory # in my notes and ordered same. One remaining question. There are two key hole shaped holes in the mounting plate on the mower frame. The Bag moujnting bracket attaches to this plate. One hole is on the upper left another on the lower right side of the mounting plate about 6-8 inches apart. The bag mounting bracket although it has 4 holes is not wide enough to accomodate more then one bolt . Can you advise if the bag mounting bracket attaches to the upper left or lower right hole on the mounting plate?

James, I am not able to contact Chauncy V. He is not a member of our Manage My Life Expert team and he is not located at this site. If you will send the model number of the tractor to me, I will be glad to get the part number of the shoulder bolt for you.

I apologize for making this more trouble for you than it should be.

The tractor hitch plate comes with shoulder bolts installed for the bagger bracket to mount on.

The bolts are self tapping and don't require a nut. If the shoulder bolts came out you can get the part number of new shoulder bolts at

Parts Direct

. Get the model number of the tractor from under the seat and look on the "chassis and enclosure" page for the shoulder bolts.

If you have more questions, reply on this thread and include the model of the tractor. I will be glad to help.

Unfortunately the installation manual has no information on how to replace the
bag mounting bracket. It appears without talking to the expert I will have to remove
the entire assembly which holds the bracket mounting plate. I was looking for
an simpler approach. Thanks for your interest

Spring comes with a variety of chores to get done and having problems with the bagger will slow your projects down. While you wait for the expert, you can check the installation manual for this model bagger if you do not already have it. I attached the link to the manual below. I see it does not have the size bolt you need so hopefully the expert will have that.
