Selling goods on the internet for a move out of state.

Agreed. If there is a Craigslist community for where you live, that would be my first choice.

I would recommend Craigslist as it is much easier to do locally. It's easier to sign up for and the transactions can be done by the parties, and not by a payment system like Paypal.
