The frozen fill tube might indicate a problem with the water valve not shutting all the way off.

The time consuming and potentially messy fix for this problem is to defrost the ice in the tube.

You will need to remove the ice maker.

You can use a hair dryer to thaw out the tube.

You can also transfer the frozen food from the freezer to the refrigerator section. The refrigerator section will act as an ice chest and with the freezer door left open the ice will melt.

This can be done over night. All the ice will melt and the frozen food in the refrigerator section should be okay.

Once the are is clear use the ice maker but check it carefully over the next few days. The most likely cause of the ice build up is the water valve.

I hope this helps. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
