Replacing Water Inlet Valve on Kenmore Washer

My Kenmore Washer (110.26832692) fills up very slowly. I've checked the water pressure at the hoses and the filter screens. The pressure is good and the screens are clean. I'd like to change the water inlet valve to see if that fixes it, but I can't find good directions.

Can you help?

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

In order to access and replace the water inlet valve will require removing the washer cabinet from the base.

I added a YouTube video showing how to

access and replace

the water inlet valve in which you'll find it an easy procedure.

NOTE: Remember to disconnect the power cord before placing the console in the service position.

Thanks, JP. I found that posting earlier. I even printed out the pictures and went to work....

That's when I found out my washer is assembled differently than the one in the post...whoops! It's a different model number, after all, but I thought "How different can they be?" Well, different enough.
