My Craftsman lawn mower has a mix of gas and oil in the carburetor. Don't know if I have a blown gasket.....is there another solution,

My lawn mower was blowing smoke when I started it. I added lawnmower oil but after a short run, the mower died out. I checked the carburetor and found oil and gas mixed together. It is a Rotary Lawn mower, Model #917.375611. Don't know if I need to replace the gasket or is there another solution. Air filter was replaced last season.

When there are multiple problems like this an option is to take the mower to a local repair center for repair. I attached a link below to help with that if needed while you wait for the expert.
