Bank one is going to be the left bank "bank 1"on a Chevrolet and the emission system has O2 sensors and also monitor sensors which will be the "2". So either the sensor on the front of the engine after the catalytic converter is bad or it is sensing the cat is bad. You need to take your vehicle to a repair facility that has the capability of monitoring the sensors via computer to tell you if it is the sensor or the cat.

Car repairs can be good do it yourself projects if you have the tools, patience and a little knowledge. I located some information from two other web sites that you can check if you like while waiting for the expert response. Hope this helps.
