why is my reverse osmosis faucet leaking?

I have a whirlpool WHER25 reverseosmosis filtration system. It is designed with the drain hose going through the faucet! The water the filter needs to get rid of comes up RED hose to the faucet where it then sends it via black hose to the drain. Problem is that quite a bit of the water leaks from a breathing hole on the faucet...I have verified that there is nothing obstructing flow and have replaced EVERY component (I actually purchased a whole new system to replace pieces from! so this is the second system and still have same problem)
