Model #536.881400; engine model 120502-0255-E1; item #976a. Please tell me how to replace this primer bulb. I'd also like to replace the fuel line hose at the same time. Should I do that, too?

If you are going to replace the primmer, you probably should replace the hose also. I have looked up the part numbers for you. The part number for the primmer is 790221 and the primmer line is part number 793006. You can order both of these parts from our parts website listed below. If you have any questions when doing the repair, please let me know.

Mark T.,
Thank you for your response. I'm sure I could accomplish this myself.
When I order the primmer (primer?), should I order the primmer hose, too?
By primmer, do you mean fuel primer assembly part #790221?
And do you know the part number on the primmer hose?

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the snow blower. The primer is mounted to the engine cover. To replace the primer you have to remove the engine cover first. I have added an image below that show how to remove the engine cover. once the cover is loose remove the primer hose from the backside of the primmer. Now that that is disconnected use a pair of pliers to push the primer retaining tabs in. once the tabs are pushed pull out on the primmer. To install the new primmer, push it into the hole and reassemble in the reverse order.

Please let me know if you need further assistance on the repair of the snow blower.
