Weedwacker primer bulb will not pop back out after it is depressed.

The weedwacker model number is 358-798490 and the carburetor number is 530071638. When the primer bulb is depressed it will not re-inflate, i.e., pop back out. The bulb will readily pop out when the fuel line from the bulb assembly is disconnected from the carburetor. I believe there may be a blockage in the carburetor that won't allow in air to re-inflate the bulb. Can the carburetor be repaired or should I just get a new carburetor? I appreciate any help or advice you may provide. Just in case, my email ID is JasperFicara@gmail.com.

Base on what you said I think you problem may be in the fuel return line from the primer bulb. I have included a link to a video that shows

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations:

I hope this helps.

If I can be of further assistance please feel free to follow the thread with any questions you have along with the specifics.
