Direct Buy Scam. Is there a way to be refunded if you have never bought any thing from them?

Given the line of work I am in, and after becoming a member. I have found that there is nothing Direct Buy has that I can't find elsewhere for a better deal. Thus my wife and I have not purchased anything from Direct Buy. My question is "Is there ANY way to get out of the contract?" Even if it means getting a lawyer?

There are many to good to be true offers in the marketplace. The adage, "If it sounds to good to be true it probably is" still applies. You are probably right that legal advice may be necessary. You might also check the laws in your state and the attorney general's web site for your state to see if there are other complaints. I see there are other complaints on the web. I attached one that may interest you while you wait for the expert.

Hi, I was just looking at Barbara's response. I went to the site and there are suggestions about what to do regarding this problem.

You may have already tried the direct approach, but just in case you haven't, you should contact your local DirectBuy location and ask them to be released from the contract. That might solve your problem right there.

I noticed from their web site that DirectBuy is accredited by the Better Business Bureau. If DirectBuy treats you unfairly, a good next step could be taking your complaint to them. Legal action can be expensive and exhausting.
