sears chain saw

mod. # 358.360280 sears chain saw. 2.6 cu in./42 cc 2 cycle --chain bar is getting no oil. I have blown out the tube and the tube and orface are clear. I have run the saw without the chain and bar, but no oil comes out of the hole? Any ideas?? Thankx, Jim

Thank you for you question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the chain saw. The problem could be a plugged outlet in the oil tank or plugged pump. I recommend removing the pump first. To remove the pump you have to remove the clutch. Click

to watch a video on how to remove the clutch. once the clutch is removed take the screws out of the pump. then remove the pump. after the pump is out there should be oil coming out of the tank outlet. If you have oil coming out I recommend cleaning or replacing the pump. If you do not see any oil come out you have to clean the oil tank out.
