Kenmore Elite HE4t error Code F02, pump runs but it still wont drain

I have a 2006 Kenmore Front Load HE4t washer. Was getting "suds" and F02 errors last night. after read much help on here I did clean out filter, however it still wouldn't drain. So I used the shop vac and attached it to the hose that goes in the wall to drain and that was the only way, with the washer running I can drain it. I do not think there are obstructions in the hose as I took the filter off while I had the shop vac hooked to the drain hose and plenty of suction all the way through. The pump is running, again no draining through to the outlet hose to wall drain...sometimes a tiny trickle is all. So I did then unplug the washer again, took the top off and I was going to attempt to take the clear (even though mine is black) hose off the bottom of the pressure switch to see if I could blow through it with out restriction like a post from May 13, 2009 instructs as a way to see if the Airdome is blocked, however I cannot pull that hose off the bottom of that pressure this normal? I don't want to break anything more, however I guess the washer doesn't really work anyway.. Do you have any suggestions/advise for me??

Hi Kristin,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I know how frustrating it can be when appliances do not function properly.

From your description you likely have a bad drain pump. If the pump is running and you are sure the drain hoses are not blocked, the pump should be moving the water. I recommend replacing the drain pump.

You did not give me the model number so I am unable to give you the part number. Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases;

Sears Parts Direct

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

Sears Home Services

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post with a complete model number.

Thanks again for using Manage My Life.
