Television problems have many owners searching the web for easy answers. Answers can be difficult to find and repairs aren't really geared to self repair. I only say this because I have been one of those who spent a lot of time trying to fix my Sony. While you wait for the expert you might check the two links below. one is a previous expert post with a similar question. The second link is to Sony support. The site did not recognize the model number above though. The easiest path might be to have the professional make the repair. The third link is to Sears Home Services. I've gotten use to my white and black spots!
The blue dots is typically caused by the optical engine. The optical engine would need to be replaced. The optical block part number is A1084662A. The price of the optical and labor charge would warrant looking at replacement of the TV than to repair the set.
