Kenmore Gas Range no electronic display is there a reset button?

I turned on my oven and it was running all of a sudden there was no electronic display and the oven shut off. I tried the fuse box reset and unplugging the stove to reset and still nothing. Is there a reset button somewhere on the stove or a fuse in the electronics part?

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

There is no reset button on your Kenmore gas range. The first thing to do if you haven't already is to plug some other type of appliance into the electrical outlet to see if the outlet has voltage. If the outlet has voltage then the electronic oven control has likely failed. In order to verify this assumption is to check and verify the voltage supply connected to the electronic oven control.

Note: I do not recommend checking and confirming voltage unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so; otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.

So that's what I can tell you at this point. I can give you more detailed help if you could provide me with the complete model number. The model numbers are typically located at the top or bottom of the oven cavity opening, or around the storage/broiler opening. If you could supply me with that information I will be happy to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

It would be upsetting to have the oven stop working. I see you have tried to reset to no avail. A suggestion I have to help the expert provide a better answer is to provide the model number of the range to this thread. In the meantime I did find and attach a similar question to the post below that may help while you wait for the expert. If you would like to schedule a technician to diagnose and make repairs an option is the Sears Home Services link below.
