I have a Kenmore Dehumidifier (model # 58054351700). It runs for approximately 2 minutes and then turns off. Should I repair or replace it?

Whether the bucket is in or I hold down the button manually the device turns off. I am not sure what part is causing the prolem. is it worth a store drop off for a repair should I just look to replace it with a new model? What part would need replacing? Input appreciated, thanks in advance.

Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern. The information you have received from Aashe is very good. I recommend taking this dehumidifier, to the nearest repair center, to have it checked. If the sensor is the problem, it would be worth repairing. If the board has failed, it would not be economical to repair it. I'm attaching a site you can access for the nearest repair center. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations:

Sears Home Services

. I hope this will help you.
