Kenmore electric dryer #11082826101: Unit tumbles with no heat, after some testing we replaced the thermistor and the heater fuse.

The problem persist. P0 is not closing for the heater to heat, when bypassed it works. What else can be exmained prior to investing in a new module? Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I must assume you were jumping across the heater relay in order to get it to heat. Since you have already replaced the thermistor the electronic control will have to be replaced in order to repair your dryer.

The electronic control needed is part #8546219 which can be ordered from SearsParts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
