Repair/troubleshooting info for a Model 4317943 Kenmore icemaker

Is there a repair manual available for this icemaker? I see the icemaker number has been updated.

Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when the icemaker stops working. I'm not showing a repair manual for this icemaker. However, this icemaker has some test terminals on the module that may help determine what the problem is. To access the terminals, pull the front cover off of the icemaker. The terminals will be marked (see picture) and using a well insulated jumper, place it between the L - V terminals. Be careful this is a hot (live) check. With the jumper in place, water should flow to the icemaker. If water does flow, the icemaker will need to be replaced. If no water flows but you can hear a humming noise, the water valve will need to be replaced. If nothing at all happens, some voltage checks will need to be made. A technician may be needed to make these checks. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a tech come out. Here is a link for the website:

has filtered water supply - makes no ice, solenoid not working but don't know if that is because module or thermostat is not sending signal - don't want to just start replacing parts without a trobleshooting guide
