.Replacing a Key lock set on a sears coin op dryer.

I need to change out a key lock set on my sears coin op dryer due to no keys. I purchased this machine from a sears outlet store with no keys, and the sears agent told me I could just order some keys from sears. Come to find out I need a key lock number is on the inside of the money box. and I don't have keys to get this number. So I just ordered a new key lock set with keys, how do I change out the locked keyset or should I get a Sears tech man to do it? thank you! The model # is 110.62182103 Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

Sears techs do not normally do this. You will need to drill the lock out or have a locksmith come out to get into the box.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

Sears Home Services

.

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases;

Sears Parts Direct

.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
