If the pilot stays lit on a wall furnace, why won't the heater light when turn on thermostat?

I have a williams furnace, gravity vented wall furnace, natural gas and the pilot light is lit- and remains lit. However, no matter setting I adjust the wall thermostat too the heater will not light at all.

Thank you so much! I have the samsame furnace same problem and this did the trick. I just pushed the tiny red button that barely even looks like a button and it fired up right away. Thanks again you saved me a lot of time and money!
