Why isn't my dryer blowing out exhaust Model #11067032601

Today, the dryer got hot and didn't dry, after investigation, it was found that it wasn't blowing anything out the exhaust and to the outside. I took off the hose and there is no air coming from the dryer out the exhaust. How is this fixed?

Hi Curtis,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

This dryer has a blower that is belt driven (part number 8544742). The first thing I recommend checking is the blower belt. I am including the disassembly instructions for this type dryer in the images below.

Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

I hope this is helpful. Check the things I have covered here, and if I may be of further assistance, include more details, in a reply to this post.
