What products can I use to protect the bottom my new oven from spills?

I just purchased a Kenmore microwave/wall oven combination Model 790, need to know what materials I can use to protect the bottom of my wall oven?

I know that you want to make your appliances last as long as possible. However, the materials for the oven liner are now a baked on enamel, which oven liners will melt into. It is not recommended that you use anything on the bottom of the oven. If you should have spills, the newer models have a self clean function to take care of them. These operating instructions are located in your owner's manual. If you need further assistance please reply to this thread with you model number.
