How do I start Comfort Glow Kerosene portable heater?

by Manage My Life Last activity date:

I have a Comfort Glow Kerosene portable heater model number PHS/S. The heater has never been used and I was wondering how I start it. Its very old and the manual is no longer available. I filled it with clean kersione and pushed the "on" button slowly and the light did flash green but it won't glow steady. On the panel it talks about water do I need to supply water some place on the heater?

Thank you for your question on the starting of the Kerosene heater.

I am sorry that we do not have the manual for the heater.

Usually they will have lighting instructions on the heater face so you do not have to have the manual.

I believe the water they are referring to is not to have any in the fuel which would make it hard to start.

If it goes in the heater I do not know where it would go.

You said you have put in clean Kerosene so that should not be the problem.

I am sorry but I also cannot find any operating instructions for this heater.

I am sorry that I cannot help your but you may find a local servicer that has some knowledge of this product.
