I see Pvalde2 provided you with good information however, it does not pertain to a dryer. The F-01 error code indicates a primary control board failure on this model of dryer. If the error cleared after unplugging it for 20-30, then the control board could have received a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines. Completely disconnecting the electrical power and then reconnecting it will sometimes reset the board and it will operate properly. If your dryer continues to operate properly, then resetting the control board may have fixed your problem.
If the dryer motor continues to stop working, then you may have a bad control board. A wiring problem or drive motor failure could also prevent the dryer from continuing to run properly. A technician is normally needed to diagnose and repair this type of problem.
If the F-01 returns and will not clear, then you will need to replace the control board in the dryer.
