Water dispenser doesn't work, but the ice maker does. Any suggestions on what is wrong?

We have a KitchenAid Top-Mount Refrigerator Model Number 2225951. The water dispenser just quit working for no apparent reason. However, the ice maker still works. When you push the button for the water dispenser, you can hear the motor working, but no water is coming out. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much everyone!! It turns out the water reservoir was frozen. After the refrigerator was off for 30 minutes, it thawed and everything worked fine. Thank you so very much for your help!!

Water pressure to refrigerator may be too low, causing water dispenser not to function.

A cold water supply with water pressure of 30 to 120 PSI is required to operate the water dispenser.

A kinked tubing prevents water dispenser from working.

If filter is partially clogged it may cause slow or no water to be dispensed.

If the water flow to the dispenser or ice maker has changed noticeably the water filter may need to be replaced. Generally filter lights/indicators will let you know when it is time to replace the filter with a new one however; a decrease in water flow at the dispenser is another good very good sign. Replace water filter every six months or sooner (depending upon water conditions).

When you push in the water dispenser lever you should hear the water valve solenoid buzzing. If you do not, I would recommend checking the voltage to the water valve. If you hear the water valve then this could indicate that the water reservoir is frozen or the water valve is defective. If you like to schedule service, you may do so by logging onto
