Lifestyler Expanse 850 treadmill belt slipping

My Lifestyler Expanse 850's belt has been slipping to the left. We have tried readjusting it according to the manual's instructions in the troubleshooting section but it just keeps slipping again and again. We have not been able to fix it. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the treadmill. First, look at the end cap where the belt adjuster bolts are located. I have seen the end cap break and cause the problem you are having. The end cap should support the right and left adjuster bolt. When it breaks, the belt will slip to the broken side. The only way to the cure the problem, is to replace the end cap. The end cap can be ordered from our parts website:

Sears Parts Direct

.

If the end cap is fine, continue to tighten the left side adjuster. This should bring the waling belt back center. I have found a video that shows how to adjust the belt. Click

to watch the video.

I hope this helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:
