In the details of your question, you did not indicate if the engine would turn over when you try to start it. I will assume that the engine. First, make sure the mower deck is off and the shifter is in neutral. Then depress the brake pedal and try to start the engine. If the tractor does not make any noise, I recommend checking the fuse. On most of or tractors the fuse is located behind the dash or near the battery. The fuse will be in a holder that has two red wires. If the fuse is ok, please reply below with the model number of the tractor. Also, let me know if you have a volt ohmmeter and feel comfortable making checks.
