Wiring the 4317943 ice maker

by Manage My Life Last activity date:

4317943 harnesses all have 4 wire plugs. Old ice maker had a 2 wire harness that connected 1 wire in the front of the maker and another wire that joined w/the other harness into the back of the motor unit (?) as per the new 4 wire setup. Is there an adapter that I should use or can I splice these somehow to get the new unit working?

When there are substituted parts it works the same but the connection is different. Managemylife.com has the answer to connecting the wire harness. The links provided below may help you while waiting for an expert answer.
