Why does LG refrigerator keep beeping?

by Manage My Life Last activity date:

I bought an LG side-by-side refrigeator model number LSC23924SB. It was a floor model open box item. I got it at half price. After being on for 3 hours it beeps 3 times every 30 seconds, the door is closed.

The door alarm is proabaly faulty. The alarm is built into the main board (key #501A) and can't be turned off. It is also possible the door switches may have failed but that would be very rare. I recommend replacing the main board for the refrigerator which is part number EBR64585305 pricd at $118.99. I hope this information helps you and thank you for choosing Manage My Life.
