Moving a top loading washing machine
How do I safely move a top loading Kenmore washing machine that was purchased in Aug.2011 ? I do not know the model number just that it is a Kenmore, elite I think, that has a rapid spinning tub. We are trying to move it ourselves from Florida to Michigan

I understand that it is important when moving your appliances that they are properly moved so no issues will occur when in your new location. While you are waiting for an expert to respond, I have attached some helpful links below that may provide information to assist you with your question. Have a great day!
Hello Sandy. I see that you posted the model number of that washer on the first link that Alina F. provided above. I looked at the information for your washer based on that model number 21302 (full Kenmore model number 110.21302). That washer does not have shipping bolts like the front load washer that is described in the other thread. I recommend that you cancel that shipping bolt order. You should not need those bolts for your washer model. You will not be able to install those on your washer. Your washer was shipped with a couple of styrofoam blocks. You will not need those blocks. I recommend that you just transport the washer in an upright position. No damage should occur to the washer when it is transported in this manner.
