Just out of the box 18v trimmer, after i charged battery until green light appeared Im getting nothing

I know how upsetting it is when your new trimmer is already giving you issues. I can see why you would be disappointed. Since this is a new model I would suggest taking it back to the store where you purchased it or to the Sears repair unit. I have attached a link below to locate your local unit. I hope all goes well.
I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with a brand new trimmer. On the first initial charge for the battery, it needs to charge for a full 24 hours. If you are not getting a charge after the 24 hour period, then it you have either a faulty battery or charger. This is cover under the warranty, so you can take it to have it repaired or you can exchange it for a different one. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread.
