Why won't my oven door close all the way?

My Kenmore gas range model number 911.36766790. The oven door will not close all the way. I tried looking up the replacement part online and I'm unable to see which part is needed. Does the entire door need to be replaced? Or is there a spring or catch that can be changed?

Ranges are appliances we use daily so when it starts to have issues it can be really frustrating. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I suggest you set service with Sears technician. I have attached the link below. Have a great day!

Thank you for submitting your question and I will be happy to assist you. If the oven door is not closing all the way, you'll need to replace the hinges on the door to get a proper seal. The left side door hinge is part number WB14X103 and the right side door hinge is part number WB14X104. The door springs needed are part number WB9X244 priced at $20.99. Remove the storage drawer to access the door springs. Here's

on this repair. You can order these parts from our

Sears Parts Direct

team. If you do not feel confident in performing this repair yourself you can schedule service online with our

Sears Home Services

team. I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.
