Kenmore refrigerator model #106.5702*601

The ice stopped dropping. Could replacing the ice bin correct, or could it be caused from the shaft inside the door?

I can understand how difficult it can be to have issues with your ice maker. This problem is normally cause by an issue with the ice maker motor. However, it is possible that the optics for the ice maker could have failed. This is what tells the ice maker to cycle. The image below will provide the troubleshooting information you need to determine if this the is problem. If it is not, then I would suggest you replace the ice maker itself.
