Thanks for contacting

. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your garage door opener not working properly. We are here to help. The garage door opener not working after a power outage may have been hit by a power surge. The way to tell is, are the safety sensors on? Does the wall control lite up? If the answer is no, most likely the the outlet circuit breaker is tripped or the logic board is bad. If the logic board is bad, it depends upon the age if it is worth fixing. Now if the is outlet dead, just reset the circuit breaker to fix it. Garage door openers do not have any reset button. I hope this helps.

If you do not feel comfortable repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears Technician. You may visit
