Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.
Based on your symptom and details I suspect too much HE detergent is being used and the washer is attempting to remove the excessive suds and not a sensor issue. This is why it seems to get stuck with the error code (SUDS).
Reduce the amount of detergent for the size of the load and soil level.
If you have a water softener; you will only need to use very little HE detergent.
Even though you may have reduced the amount of detergent, the previous washed clothes most likely still has residual detergent in the clothes. I recommend running a cycle without any clothes with hot water to rinse out any residual detergent. Then run a normal wash cycle with clothes
without adding any detergent
and you will likely see some suds indicating the clothes were not rinsed well due to using too much detergent. Washing soiled clothes that were not rinsed out well and adding additional detergent just compounds the sudsing issue.
If you have to; run a couple of cycles using HOT water and no clothes to get it rinsed out.
If you feel there is something wrong with the washer, I strongly suggest calling a service technician to check the washer out for proper operation.
You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:
