Kenmore Induction cooktop error codes

by Manage My Life Last activity date:
July 30th, 2012

I have a 30" kenmore induction cooktop model 43809 which displays error code C25 on burners 1/2 and error code c26 on burners 3/4. I've had the cooktop less than a week but it was working fine for the first few days...
What do these codes mean and can I fix them. I've turned the breaker off twice but to no avail.

Induction cook tops are complicated machine and since the unit is only a week old I suggest you call and schedule service to have this problem corrected. The image below contains information about the C25 and C26 error codes you mention. Both can be caused by a loose wire connection or main control failure. You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

Error codes on a practically brand new cooktop can be extremely aggravating. I did some research on the unit. At this time, I was unable to locate information that would be helpful in regards to your question. Your expert will answer within 24 to 48 hours with detailed information. You can also click on the available link to set service for your cooktop.
