Loosing items in the washer and dryer is not uncommon but no less upsetting.

The coin will normally work its way down into the large item filter of the pump. You could remove the bottom front service panel and empty the large item filter of the pump.

Remember to unplug the washer before proceeding

Look through the holes in the inner tub to locate any coins inside the tub. Use a small flat blade screwdriver or the wire to move any coins down to the sump.

You may be able to help the coin along by pouring some water down into the bottom of the tub to try and flush the coin into the drain hose between the outer tub and the pump.

Once you have removed the bottom front panel, disconnect the hose and use a piece of wire (clothes hanger works well) with a 90 degree bend in the end to pull coins out of the hose.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

Who needs all that extra noise coming from the LG washer? It is easy to take the money out of the drum, just ask an expert. An expert has answered this question before. I have provided the link below. Hope this is helpful while an expert responds to your specific model.
