Can this freezer be kept outside? What's the lowest temperature it can be in? Thank you.

Thanks for your question about the upright freezer model 255.29502.

Locating your freezer in a convenient area can sometimes be challenging. Per the owner’s manual the freezer should not be in direct sunlight, or in extreme cold. Putting your freezer outdoors can affect the operation when ambient temperatures are extreme hot or cold.

Generally speaking most freezers will operate okay in temperatures down to 32 degrees. However extreme cold could cause the oil inside compressor to thicken and not circulate properly. This could cause component failure.

This product is not designed to be out doors in extreme temperatures.

Thanks Ron H.
