LG LED TV sound but no picture

I have a 47le5400 47 inch LED tv from LG.

One day their was no video. I could hear sounds I could even switch inputs but their is no picture.

Also when I click the menu button it does not pull up.

My TV does light up in the back their is just no picture.

Ive done a bit of research and I am thinking bad capacitors but when I took a look I didn't see any that was bulging. I was also told that it could be the main board T-board or power supply.

I would like to know about the price I'm looking at to get this fixed and whether I should take it for service

I understand how frustrating this can be, now that foot ball season is here TV's are starting to act up. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I suggest you set service with a Sears technician so they can fix this for you. I have attached the link below. Hope this helps!

Since the backlight is on then the problem would be the T-con board. It is a slight chance it would be the main board, but most likely the T-con board. To give you a part number and price I would need the service model code off the back of the set. It starts the same as the model number but has several letters at the end. If you could provide the service model number, I would be able to look up parts.

Unfortunately, the T-con board is part of the LCD panel assembly. The price of the LCD panel is well over the price of a new TV.
