Lint can be a normal occurrence in a washer and is usually removed in the dryer. Most of today's washers do not have lint filters. It is intended to remove the lint in the dryer cycle. You can reduce the agitation speed and time to reduce the amount of lint in the washer. Sand is a more difficult and unusual problem. I suspect the sand would come from clothes or from the water supply. Do you have a well water supply or a city water supply? If you reply with a model number I may be able to find more information on this problem.

The lint and sand on the clothes can be aggravating. I found some information for you that I am hoping will help you until your expert answers your question. I am adding the link below to help you with your question while you wait for your expert response. To better help your expert, I would like to suggest adding your full model number. It may take 24-48 hours. I do hope everything works out on the washer.
