Craftsman Air Compressor

I have a craftsman 30 gallon up right air compressor Model # 919-167312

It does not shut off with the switch I have to unplug it to stop it.

It continually runs until the pressure pop off trips.

There is only one very minor leak at the drain cock, it loses about 5 lbs a day

What do I look for?? and where?? Is this a simple fix or do I need to replace a part.

Thank you

Thank you for your question on the air compressor that does not shut off when it reaches its target pressure.

You will need to replace the pressure switch.

Replacement pressure switch for model 919.167312

This switch may be a little different from the original but is the approved replacement.
