"Zero" or "No" or "Low" Impact workouts are workouts that have very little impact (less pressure on joints) and are often used by exercisers who may have joint issues, skeletal issues or may be recovering from surgery. A classic example of a "no impact workout" is walking or treading water in a pool after knee surgery. The water acts as resistance so the muscles and joints of the knee can gain strength, without causing any trauma.
