I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your garage door opener. Unplug the opener and remove the bulbs. Using a small tool pull out on the center contact in the bulb socket. Replace the bulbs and plug in the opener. Some bulbs do not fit correctly in the sockets. Sometimes the contacts inside the sockets get flattened out and don't make contact with the base of the bulb.
If you have a volt meter, I recommend you remove the light bulbs and turn the lights on. Read the voltage between the contact at the bottom of the socket and the side where the bulb screws in. You should read 110-120 volts ac. If you don't have the voltage the relay on the logic board has failed. You need to replace the logic board. Be very careful when measuring live electricity.
