Remote not working on Craftsman garage door opener but wall control does.

Will part # 41A5021-2C for my Sears Craftsman garage door opener potentially correct a problem with the remote not working but the wall control does work? In other words, does this logic board also control the wireless access for the garage door or is there another part I need to replace?

. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your garage door opener not working with the remote. We are here to help. Marc did provide you a good link on this problem. After reading what was done, I recommend testing the battery in the remote with a multimeter. Replace the battery if it is weak or bad. Next, program the remote to the garage door opener. If the problem still exists, remove the lights bulbs from the garage door opener. The newer light bulbs do emit a frequency that can interfere with the remotes a keyless entry. That is why standard incandescent bulbs need to be used on garage door openers. Also, there may be something in the garage causing a interference, stopping the remotes from working. To verify the light is interfering with the garage door opener, just look for a flickering led next to the learn button. Check for the flickering led with the garage door opener light on and off. The logic board does control all wireless access. I hope this helps.

Continuing to diagnose this issue. It seems that the remote will not work despite resetting the remotes. The wall control works fine. Does this point to the logic board or something else as being the prpoblem?

After further diagnosis, it appears that the garage door works using the remote if I turn off the lights on the unit from the wall control (or the lights turn off automatically after 4.5 minutes). If the lights are still on, the remotes will not work.
